Established in 1982, Alabang Town Center is considered as one of the oldest shopping malls owned and operated by Ayala Malls. It has a total 48000 m² of retail space. It houses a number of retail brands such as Rustan’s Department Store and high-end ones such as Gap and Marks & Spencer. It also has 4 cinemas and other entertainment centers such as the Conceptrum, which is a go-to place for families and barkadas who want to have fun and play detective games.
The mall is also the go-to place for those who love food trips. Housed inside the mall are some of the leading fast food chains, including Jollibee, Chowking, Taters, KFC, Burger King, and more.
The mall caters particularly to consumers in South Manila particularly those who are located in Las Piñas, Muntinlupa, and Parañaque. It is affectionately referred to as “Town” by its regulars.
Here’s more about the shopping mall as described by the management itself:
“Alabang Town Center, strategically located within the suburbs of Southern Manila, exudes the comfortable and laid back lifestyle distinctive of this area. Characterized by weekend lunches with the family, this Mediterranean courtyard-inspired shopping center captures the sprawling and engaging nature of lively meals in the sunlight. It is the only open-air mall south of Makati that has successfully blended natural elements with retail space, dining and entertainment choices and punctuated with a lively activity center.
Situated within minutes from the nearby villages, it is the community’s second home and meeting place for every day, a refuge where comfort, relaxation and pleasurable shopping happen at their own pace.”
